2022 Year End Update

Wohali is positioning itself to be the best luxury mountain adventure and world class golf course community in Park City while rivaling the best in its class around the world. The team has continued pushing forward with laying sod, drop seeding, and hydroseeding the starter putting and chipping green located right next to the Wohali Lake as well as several of the Eagle Championship Golf Course holes. Of the 13 holes in the Wohali Valley, holes #1, #2, #3, #4, #7, #17, #18, & #19 have received sod, drop seeded, and is now growing in beautifully. Additionally, the Eagle Golf Course Starter Shack is complete as well as the beautiful starter putting green overlooking the Wohali Lake and the 19th hole. Here are some interesting stats as it relates to the progress of the Eagle Course from 2022:
- Over 100,000 yards of topsoil spread on the golf course to date
- 344,220 sq ft of sod laid
- Ryegrass - 118,320 sq ft
- Kentucky Blue - 135,360 sq ft
- Fine Fescue - 90,540 sq ft
- 1,800 trees planted around the golf course
We are also excited to announce that you can now play all 18 holes on the Trackman at our Sales Center at 625 Main St. Though we are not ready to release the draft course publicly, we would welcome you to be one of the first to play at Wohali digitality. Eagle Championship Golf Course Progress
Throughout the past year the beautiful Wohali landscape has once again shown off all its beauty through each season. This fall was particularly special this year as we finally got a taste of what the valley will look like with the golf course green against the majestic cliff band, ancient juniper and mahogany forest, and waving valley floor set in front of the fall colors painted on Lewis Peak. We have the benefit of experiencing the Wohali Valley and the surrounding mountains every week and I can't wait to share this ever-changing landscape with you during an early morning tee time with dew on the tee box, hiking through the trails, and of course skiing Utah's finest champagne powder in Wohali's vast backcountry. Currently we are enjoying the snow-capped Lewis Peak dressed to the nines with snow chutes like multiple neck ties flowing into the valley below. I look forward to this spring to see how the green parts of the golf course will flow seamlessly into the lush natural green grasses with blossoming flowers spreading bright colors into each valley and meadow. Knowing this will be the last spring with the golf course brown makes me smile and look forward to seasons to come.
While 2022 has seemed to fly by, our progress at Wohali would say otherwise. The Wohali Development team has been working tirelessly with most of the visual progress being made on the Golf Course and the Manor House. The property that we all love has experienced a transformation over the last year with the completion of the Wohali Dome, the Eagle Championship Golf Course fully shaped, irrigation installed, hundreds of thousands of square feet of sod and seed laid, over 1,800 large caliper trees planted, all the golf cart paths asphalted below the bluff, and construction of Wohali's first amenity building, the Manor House, has gone vertical with windows installed.
With 2023 just around the corner we would like to step back and share with you some interesting stats related to our progress as it relates to the Wohali Dome, Manor House Construction Progress, Eagle Championship Golf Course, & Infrastructure Construction Progress. Additionally, we are proud to announce our next release of 25 estates that we are offering to our Wohali Family first. Please look below to find out more details and be the first to see what is available as well as having the first right to choose another luxurious estate.

Start House
Eagle Course Start House has been completed in front of a warm-up putting green overlooking Wohali Lake.
Hole #1 Eagle Golf Course
On the first hole of the Eagle Golf Course, members and guests will be greeted with a warm handshake. As they say, "Golf is hard enough as it is, don't make the first hole tough." This beautifully designed 400+ yard par four will get all golfers off to the right start with a favorable fairway and green approach.
Hole #2 Eagle Golf Course
Continuing on to the second hole of the Eagle Golf Course will be a comfortable shot favoring 190+ yard par 3 with an elongated green to let the ball land comfortably. Rest assured though, this green is designed to keep putters modest to keep a par in reach.
Hole #17 Eagle Golf Course
Once you come through the Wohali Cut and enter the seventh hole, golfers will need to have their game dialed in with eagle vision to strike a par. This hole is designed to sharpen each player's game.
Hole #18 Eagle Golf Course
The eighteenth hole at the Eagle Golf Course is strategically and beautifully designed to allow all golfers to tee it high and let it fly. Entrenched in the heart of the Wohali Valley, this hole gives all golfers the opportunity to end their game on a positive note.
Hole #19 Eagle Golf Course
While the Eagle Golf Course does end with a traditional 18 immaculate holes, there is one hole left for the members and guests to settle all scores. The 19th hole will give all players/competitors one final chance to take the title for their respective foursome.
Manor house Construction Progress
I wanted to focus on the Manor House as the first Wohali amenity building taking shape. The building is a tribute to a European inspired old world meets new world architecture designed to encompass its natural surroundings and passion for the mountains and golf. The masterpiece has been constructed with furniture grade timbers creating the super structure of the building. The structure is comprised of 12 different species that have been responsibly and sustainably harvested from Brazil using a selective thinning technique. This method helps remaining trees have the proper spacing, reducing overcrowding and relieving tree stress. The structure is then fashioned by master craftsman in Brazil and shipped to Wohali. Species used include Jatoba, Cumara and Garapa. Each specie is extremely dense and durable, some having a fire rating alongside notable substances of concrete and steel while their warmth and beauty provides a backdrop of a generational fine piece of furniture.
The stone cladding of the Manor House is natural stone quarried in the hills of Montana. Each stone is then mechanically split and hand chiseled to fit meticulously together in a dry stack method using old world English and Scottish techniques. Some of our masons have five generations of stone cutting in their family line with ancestors that immigrated here after polishing their skill in Scandinavia before coming to America. Stone masonry is in their blood, and the finished product illustrates their talent. The stone archwork for the fireplaces of the Manor House is made of native Wohali Stone, quarried in the excavation and rough grading of the golf course. The large keystones and arch pieces have been shaped, chiseled, and repurposed to fit the wood-burning fireboxes perfectly, while the fireboxes have been lined with reclaimed brick from a local kiln.
With the Manor House scheduled to deliver in summer 2023 we can now focus on the finishing touches that will truly make Wohali a home created for generations to enjoy. Countless hours have been put into every detail and 2023 is when these details will come to life. In the early mornings of March 2022 Wohali Builders and the construction crew in the chilling weather were hard at work beginning to dig and form the foundation for Wohali's first amenity, The Manor House.
Just one month later as the winter wonderland had lifted the crew pressed forward with forming and pouring the first foundational walls framing the ground floor. The entry-level will offer a rich dining, bar, and lounge.
In the following months to come the complete structure for the first floor steel structure was installed along with the concrete which allowed the team to focus on the start of the second floor framing and side patio where families will gather.
Continuing with the same strong push and progress from Wohali Builders and the construction team was the time to crane in the nine massive trellises that not only support but are built to design and show off the beautiful Brazilian hardwood on the second floor.
As the fall quickly approached it was a race to enclose the building of the Manor House before the first snowfall of the year. Windows were installed, and the roof dried in.

Infrastructure Construction Update
Although it's exciting to see the golf course and discuss the stories that will be told at the Manor House for years to come, Wohali has made a great deal of progress on the infrastructure of the community. With most of the heavy lifting done on the golf course, 2023 will see more focus towards the completion of utilities in Phase 1, the Village, as well as road and curb & gutter. Below are some bullet points of what was accomplished in 2022,
- Sewer Line to Phase 1 is in with water following suit shortly
- 100,000 tons of road base sifted on the Wohali bench and laid creating 8 miles of golf course cart paths, of which 6 miles have been asphalted.
- 60,000 yards of dirt removed to create the Highlands Lake pictured above
- Wohali Lake Pump Station complete and pumping water to irrigate the golf course below the bluff as well as a pump to send water to Highlands Lake
- Highlands Lake Pump Station is under construction.
- 15+ Miles of Pipe installed for the golf course irrigation
- Two steel buildings each with over 9,000 sq ft of space were constructed. These will eventually become the home for golf operations and maintenance.
- Three massive, heavy-duty construction tents were erected to house materials during the winter.
Wohali Dome
We are happy to announce the completion of the Wohali Dome. This dome is an example/testament not only to the quality of product that Wohali will deliver but also the experience and level of luxury that Wohali will deliver in the Backcountry. Please enjoy several photos below of both the exterior and interior. Please know that this is an owner amenity so please reach out when you want to schedule a night or two at the Dome.
The Dome will eventually be deconstructed and reconstructed in the Backcountry. This will be one of several similar living spaces, each with its own character, for Wohali Owners, families, and guests to enjoy a luxurious off the grind destination. These domes are designed to allow families to gather and enjoy quality family time as well as the peaceful nature of Wohali's almost 3,400 acres of mountain beauty.
The space is designed to allow Wohali owners and their families plenty of gathering space, indoor and outdoor, to enjoy one another's laughs and stories while creating new memories. This space was designed and crafted with hand selected snowdrift wood to maintain the low eco-impact Wohali strives for across the land.
The owners of Wohali personally selected dome to maximize user experience with the connection to the outdoors. The bed is framed perfectly to create a new level of comfort while stargazing through the sky light viewing corridor.
Not only are the views from within enjoyed from above, but these unique selected Dome designs are also enjoyed from the living space below for all owners and guest to enjoy. All the Wohali Dome's will be strategically placed within the backcountry to maximize viewing corridors to give the highest enjoyable and relaxing experience.
While the indoor space is designed to accommodate a luxurious experience the exterior of the Wohali Domes is as well. Each Wohali Dome will come with grilling services, lounging locations, and a family fire pit for all to gather around for quality time together.
New Wohali Ambassador Boyd Summerhays
The Wohali Family has expanded with new members of the team that I am eager to share with you. The most exciting announcement of 2022 was the announcement of Boyd Summerhayes as the Wohali Ambassador. He and his team have experienced some incredible results on the PGA tour in 2022 so a big congratulations to him and his team. We look forward to seeing he, his family, and his colleagues at Wohali once the course is open to play.
A New Phase of Wohali Estates
Interest and excitement continue to grow around both the Park City Community as well as the greater golf community as Wohali take shape. As a result, we have sold 21 of 25 estate lots and are excited to announce our next release of Custom Estates at Wohali. Each is strategically placed to offer stunning views and privacy. These gracious lots - ranging from under an acre to over six acres with an average of roughly 2.3 acres each - allowing owners to enjoy a near perfect mountain canvas to frame, paint, and create their own dream home. As you are already part of the Wohali family we will always offer any new releases to you first before we open these assets to the public. Clay & Laura Heckler, and their family and friends enjoyed an amazing evening and sunset at the Dome this summer. The Hecklers were also our first overnight guests at the Dome.
We didn't know if the weather was going to agree with us but we went for it anyway. The rain stopped and the clouds parted making for a special night with the Doetsch Family on their lot and dinner at the Dome. Extra thank you to Michelle for donating her time for a photoshoot or two!
The Clements enjoyed a magical evening on their Estate as well as a game of soccer on the deck of the Dome with a magical sunset in the background.
To many laughs and ample stories were shared around the fire while the Rabinowitz Family and friends enjoyed an evening at Wohali.
